Quote

Her sail raised
It flutters high
Luck, sailor’s bade
A seahawk cries
They lurch ‘pon Death
for Teeth It bares
and broken berth
Lay sunken there

Old sailor’s rhyme

So named for its underwater stone juts, and the subject of many colourful accounts, poems, and tall tales, the Teeth is a dangerous maritime obstacle that prevents normal ships from sailing westward through the Western Sea, with only the reinforced Barges and smaller, more nimble boats able to navigate it.
