The sea is against us. Every time we catch a glimpse of land, a storm is summoned, and the waves veil it from view. Even the sun hides from us, darkening the sky and making the cold that whips against us cut to the bone. Navigation is exhausting. The crew, with each day, loses patience, and morale. I am not sure how much longer we can do this. We must reach port.

It is considered all but impossible to sail to and from it by normal means, given its unpredictability, prevalence of sea storms and the Teeth, a wide stretch of ocean with jutting stone pillars that sits as a proverbial wall on the east side of the Roil itself.
Sailing Lore
Many sailors avoid the Teeth entirely by travelling in a wide berth around them, making trips out exceedingly long. There are rumours that there is a path through them, but a small ship is needed, and someone with enough grit and know-how to navigate.
