The majority of mainlanders worship the Immortals, and follow the teachings of the Scripture as closely as they can. The major teachings are called the six pillars, and include:
- Be not meek in service to the Immortals.
- An Immortal’s word is truth, and an Immortal’s time is reward.
- What is yours is the Immortals’, as all that came before and after is thanks to them.
- Be kind to your kin, teach fiercely those who do not follow the Scripture.
- Those who fall, help them and understand they fall for their sins.
- You are not pure, and only through service to the Immortals can you become so.
