The capital of Zakai’s kingdom, an opulent array of gold and brass, built new and strong over the Old City. It is full of aristocrats and the bourgeoisie spend their lives here in luxury and overabundance, while the rest are relegated to the slums below.
Old City
The Aj’than people live in today is built atop a skeleton of a city, now called Old Aj’than, the Undercity, or simply the Old City. It stretches out beneath the sunlit streets as a network of tunnels and buildings, buried and forgotten by the nobility above.
